Support SNSC
There are lots of ways to support SNSC and our efforts to bring high quality Nordic training to young athletes in Summit County.
Donations
Support our scholarship program, our annual fund, or special projects. SNSC accepts donations online (follow the links below) or by mail (PO Box 1882 Frisco, CO 80443). See more details below.
Stock Transfers
New this year, we are expanding the ways that donors can support SNSC. Stock transfers are an excellent way to support non-profit organizations and come with great tax benefits. Contact your financial planner for additional details.
Volunteering
Each year we have a number of fund raising events that need the help of volunteers. We also love to involve the community as volunteer coaches or coaches for our Little Viking Program. If you would like to volunteer for SNSC contact us!
Scholarship program
SNSC has developed a strong scholarship program to support athletes and families who need a little extra help. Scholarships are available to help cover program fees and training camps. This year we have added support for athletes who qualify to attend extraordinary races at the national or international level.
Program scholarships are awarded twice per year (summer and winter) and Race scholarships are awarded on a rolling basis.
annual fund
SNSC depends on the community the help us achieve our goals of bringing Nordic skiing and high level Nordic training to the youth in Summit County and beyond. SNSC's annual fund directly supports SNSC operations and growth.
special projects
Occasionally special opportunities arise that need a little extra support. Past examples include a campaign to add a new van to SNSC's fleet and a push to build a waxing tent in collaboration with the Town of Frisco. We like to be ready to expand on opportunities and special projects funding is essential in turning opportunities into reality.
